The 36th Annual Palm Sunday Tour of Homes in Lake Charles will be April 17, 2011 from 1-5 pm. This year the homes on tour are “rescued homes” in the Charpentier Historic District of Central Lake Charles. Rescued because the owners have restored these homes and seen the potential of their original beauty.
One of these homes being featured is the Khoury house located at 1019 Pujo Street. The Khoury home was moved from Lakeshore Drive last summer by Rhino Rhenovators and has quite an interesting history.
Tickets for the Palm Sunday Home Tour can be purchased at Gordons Drug Store for a pre tour price of $8 or $10 on the day of the tour at each property featured.
