Rouge et Blanc is Lake Charles Premier Food & Wine Event

Rouge et Blanc just celebrated another great turnout in Lake Charles, LA!  Skies were blue and attendees could be found huddled underneath the oak trees watching the LSU game!

How do you describe Rouge et Blanc?  It is a great wine and food event that supports the Arts in Lake Charles through the McNeese State Banners.  Rouge et Blanc is presented by The McNeese Foundation & The Downtown Development Authority with many Banners Committee Members volunteering.

When arriving to the event attendees are given a badge to gain entrance, a wine glass and a wine bag.  Tents are set up all around the courthouse grounds where attendees can sample brands of wines.  Local restaurant vendors are on hand with samples of delicious food and desserts.

It is a great event that helps to support the arts in the City of Lake Charles.  Attendees can spend the afternoon sipping wine under the beautiful oaks or dancing to some great music in front of the Lake Charles Courthouse!

Rouge et Blanc is always held in front of the two courthouses on Ryan Street    The 1911 Historic City Hall & Cultural Center is a beautiful building that provides a backdrop for Rouge et Blanc every year.

Home buyers relocating to Lake Charles, LA always ask me  about things to do in Lake Charles, well this is one of the Lake Charles events of the year you don’t want to miss—especially if you enjoy wine, good food and music.

Rouge et Blanc  is always one of my favorite Lake Charles events.  This was my 5th year to attend, I have got quite a collection of Rouge et Blanc wine glasses now!
