Selling Your Home: Landscaping Tip

This is Marilyn Boudreaux with Century 21 Bono Realty. Today I wanted to remind home sellers to keep your yard maintained. If you have a property that is currently listed for sale, we are in the summer growing season. I’ve got some grass growth here at this particular listing that I’m at today. This is the time of year where this is the growing season here in Southwest Louisiana, things can get overgrown really quickly. We do have to battle those afternoon showers, so whenever you have a window, you always want to make sure that you get out and take care of that yard maintenance because this is something that home buyers are paying attention to. Even if you have your home under contract, you’ve got to maintain it and keep it in the same or better condition as when that contract was written, so that includes the yard maintenance and keeping the grass and the weeds at bay.
