Show Off Your Home to Get Buyers Attention

Showing your Lake Charles home off in its best condition and playing up your home attributes will get the attention of  Home Buyers!  So how do I do that and market your listing?  Professional Photographs and Video is the answer.   Your home deserves the best and a picture says a thousand words.

I always give a Seller advance notice of when we are coming to take photographs and I will share a few simple housekeeping tips with the Seller so they have time to prepare.  Often when I arrive with the photographer there are still some things that we need to adjust or move, the main thing is “less is more”.  I’m guilty of keeping too many things out on my kitchen counters myself but I’m not trying to sell my house!  I tell Sellers to remove as much as possible so countertops are clean and de-cluttered.  Bathrooms are also a culprit of clutter sometimes.  My advice is to get some cute baskets and keep them under the counters so that when you get a showing notice you can move items quickly into the basket which clears the space on your counter.  Here are few samples of photos so you can get the idea.  Showing a neat appearance makes a difference!

This Bathroom was already semi staged with the towels, all we did was clear the toiletries from the counter

This living area shows off the space because there are no other distractions, toys are all picked up

In the Kitchen above, we cleared off the butcher block of mail and personal items so now the Buyers attention is focused on the cabinets and pot drawers!

This Seller was ready for us and had already done her own staging in this bathroom

The neat appearance shows off the space where Buyers can picture themselves living

Minimal items on the counters will give a clean neat appearance in a kitchen
